Access to 24/7, 365 days care

When a patient joins a dental plan administered by Practice Plan, they are eligible to request assistance from the Worldwide Dental Emergency Assistance Scheme, backing up your preventive message that you are helping to look after your patients even when you are closed.

What is the dental accident and emergency insurance benefit?

Our dental plans are not insurance schemes, but we have included first-class insurance cover, to pay for the cost of treatment if you damage your teeth as a result of an accident or need a dentist in an emergency outside of normal surgery hours or whilst away from home. The insurance covers you anywhere in the world for:

• Accidental damage to your teeth as a result of a fall or blow, including cover for the placement,
  replacement or repair of implants following an accident
• Emergency treatment when away from home or outside normal surgery hours

Worldwide Dental Emergency Assistance Scheme

New patients and existing clients and can access all of the forms they need for this scheme alongside the handbook at the official Worldwide Dental Emergency Scheme website.

*The Worldwide Dental Emergency Assistance Scheme is a scheme established to offer support and assistance to dental plan patients who request treatment following a dental trauma and/or dental emergency or oral cancer. The Scheme responds to requests for assistance on a wholly discretionary basis. This means that, whilst the Scheme aims to provide benefits in most cases, it has no obligation to provide any benefit unless it first decides (in its sole and absolute discretion) that it should provide a benefit. There are some circumstances in which the Scheme is not designed to help and these are explained in more detail in the Scheme Handbook. Each request will be looked at individually to assess the request for benefit. Certain restrictions and limitations may apply in the event that the request is accepted and it is possible that the Scheme will decide to provide no benefit.
