Dentists in Derby, Derbyshire 44 Main Street, Etwall, Derby, Derbyshire DE65 6LP
At Etwall Dental Practice, we believe fair pricing matters.
We want our fees to offer great value for our patients, while also reflecting a fair price for the time, skill and experience of our team. We never want to compromise on the quality of care we provide, the materials we use, our environmental values, or the way we support our staff and suppliers.
We want you to feel clear and confident about the cost of your treatment before anything begins.
That means we will always aim to explain:
In most cases, fees are payable at the end of each appointment.
We will also:
For us, fair pricing is about more than numbers. It is about working in a way that reflects our values.
We do not believe in cutting corners. Lower-cost materials or laboratory work can sometimes seem appealing, but they do not always offer the best results, fit, appearance or longevity. In our experience, cheaper options can often become more expensive in the long run.
We believe in attracting and keeping great people. To do that, we need to pay our dentists, hygienists, therapists and support team fairly for the skill and care they bring to our patients.
We also believe in making responsible choices wherever possible, including reducing our environmental impact and supporting more sustainable ways of working.
Where we can, we prefer to work with suppliers and laboratories we know and trust, especially those who share our standards for quality, ethics and service.
Some treatments are more straightforward than others, so it is not always possible to give one fixed fee that applies to every situation.
For example, a small white filling on a front tooth may take less time and use less material than a larger filling on a back tooth. That is why some fees are shown as “from”.
Even after a thorough assessment, dentistry is sometimes only fully understood once treatment begins.
For example, there may be hidden issues under an old crown or filling that do not show clearly until it is removed. If that happens, the treatment needed may change slightly. That is why treatment plans are usually given as estimates rather than guaranteed fixed prices.
We will always do our best to explain this clearly in advance.
We regularly review local fees to make sure we remain competitive. If you see a much lower fee elsewhere, it is worth checking exactly what is included.
For example:
In dentistry, price differences are often about more than the treatment itself. They can also reflect the quality of materials, the level of service and the experience of the clinician providing your care.
At Etwall Dental Practice, we believe in honest, transparent pricing and high-quality care delivered by skilled professionals who share our values.
We are always happy to help.
If you have any questions about pricing, payment options or your treatment plan, please get in touch with Etwall Dental Practice and a member of our team will be happy to talk it through with you.

We understand that dental treatment is an investment, so we try to offer options that can make costs easier to manage.
Our dental plans can offer excellent value for routine care. In many cases, the monthly cost is slightly lower than paying for appointments individually, and members may also benefit from reduced fees on selected treatments and worldwide accident insurance cover. Terms and conditions apply.
For treatment plans over £600, we offer the facility to apply for 0% finance over 6 or 10 months, subject to terms and conditions.
We also believe the best way to save money on dentistry is to reduce the need for treatment in the first place. Our focus is always on helping you become dentally fit and keeping your mouth as healthy and self-cleansing as possible for the future.
We review our fees each year based on the cost of running the practice and wider market conditions.
Like all businesses, we have to take account of rising costs such as wages, materials, laboratory fees, energy, insurance and day-to-day running expenses. We are committed to maintaining high standards, and that means working with skilled people, trusted laboratories and quality materials.
If our fees do change, we will let you know and update our website accordingly.
If you already have a treatment plan that is less than 90 days old when fees are reviewed, your existing fees will remain valid for 3 months from the date of the increase. Treatment plans older than 90 days will be subject to the new fees.
* Emergency treatment costs will depend on the exact problem. We will not know the exact problem until we have seen you for your emergency appointment – and the treatment cost will be case dependent and discussed at this appointment.
